Robotics reading: the good, the bad and the everything in between.
And where is the robotics community going to be in May?
A good article in SFGate by Joshua Bote with enough depth to really explore the good and the bad side of artificial companions. (Biased? well I am one of the article sources)
Here’s a really bad article in Robotics 24/7 about the humanoid robotic market by a guest writer from a market analytics firm. This is long on numbers and correlation but hasn’t got an ounce of causation or common sense.
And I really hope that the lesson you learned from the Silicon Valley Bank failure was not to diversify with First Republic Bank. That would be making the same mistake twice and the writing was already on the wall.

LOL. I agree that a lot of humanoid robotics market speculation is merely that. Our actual coverage is a bit more sober, and we've talked to many of the actual developers out there. I appreciate the technological challenge, and we'll see when humanoids are ready to address commercial use cases.
