2026 is off to a strong start, which is apt as we welcome the year of the Fire Horse, signifying expansion, change and resilience. Some of the stand outs of January are Waabi, from Toronto raising a $750M Series C for autonomous driving technology, Automata from the UK raising a $45M Series C for lab automation, Mytra from San Francisco raised $120M Series C for warehouse automation and Zipline also from San Francisco area raised $600M Series H for drone delivery.

So here’s the break down of January robotics funding data - 110 funding rounds for a total of $4,299,221,694 USD which is 5x the dollars for January 2025.
