Even better than an increase in the overall amount of funding going into robotics globally is seeing an increase in the number of funding rounds across a wide range of companies, sectors and geographies, although the leading regions by far are California and China. Some of the stand out rounds of March are Mind Robotics raising $500M in a Series A, Shield AI raising $2B in a Series G, Rhoda AI raising $450M in a Series A, Sunday raising $165M Series B.

Additional robotics rounds from the SF Bay Area were: Khameleon, Noble Machines, Dexmate, Anyware Robotics, Roboforce, Dentronic, Aeolus Robotics, Reliable Robotics, Matternet, Lightwheel, Human Archive, Deepen AI, General Astronautics and Origami Robotics.

Here’s the break down of March robotics funding data - 134 funding rounds for a total of $6,134,323,173 USD significantly up from January and February 2026. No funding amount is reported for approx 33% of entries, and large late stage rounds skew the totals. You can find 2025 in the archives and here are the links to the rest of 2026:
