New center to improve robot dexterity selected to receive up to $52 million - NWU
The robot dexterity research center is called the HAND center. In fact, all four of the newly NSF funded research centers have very eponymous acronyms. As well as the HAND center, there is the CURB center for decarbonization, the EARTH center for environmentally applied refrigerant technology, the TARDISS center for the transformation of american rubber… nope. Honestly they are lucky they weren’t penalized for that.
