It’s a tale of two startups. One is a stealth humanoid robotics company, potentially with funding from some big sources, founded by someone deeply experienced in serious robotics, AND commercialization. Now that’s all I can share but on paper it looks like a pretty good bet for a new top ten player in the humanoid robotics space.

And in the opposite corner, we have a startup founder without robotics background but with prior experience raising large funding rounds. You may have seen a few articles about them recently because the founder is a little controversial.

How surprising that humanoid robotics are starting to attract controversy! I have an article on Hype and Humanoids in the latest IEEE Robotics and Automation Magazine too!
