Humanoids are the front line of the US/China tech war
Good insights from The Information... the summary and some pushback
The Information's latest Long Read focuses on humanoid robots as the 'Latest Front in America's Tech War With China'. It's a great article, although I see plenty of evidence that US humanoid robotics startups are:
more numerous than feared here
more likely to be able to manufacture locally, even if supply chain is China centric
more likely to be affordable for industry (perhaps not as cheap as many Chinese humanoids but will be more capable than cheaper Chinese robots)
