In December 2023, President Xi Jinping visited Shanghai for the first time since the pandemic and spent time inspecting Fourier Intelligence and their humanoid robots, according to recent news from the 2024 China Humanoid Robot Developers Conference.
It’s worth reiterating that China is all in on humanoid robots, and when that happens, technology improves rapidly. In fact, the update cycle for robots is now apparently only three months.
